Foundation course in Music performance
The 12-week program will give you a unique opportunity to learn from some of the best performance artists and music educators who will inculcate you on how to develop your music skills and how to function in a musical situation. You will undergo sessions in Contemporary Music theory, Ear Training, Rhythm sessions, Private instruction and Ensembles. Master sessions on basic music production, Live music production, Delta blues, sessions by leading indie artists are some of the other highlights. The program will end with a performance in one of the most celebrated music venues in the city.
This is a renewable 3 month program with one on one private instruction. This program can also be availed on a monthly basis. With this uncut program you can register for the graded music examinations from Trinity college of music, Rock school or Associated Board of Royal school of Music which are held right here at Blue Notes.
This program is for people looking to enhance their musical skill especially in area of improvisation. You will not only get private instruction but you will be working in a group setting where you will be placed with other musicians of similar taste. You will also get a unique opportunity to perform in one of the blue notes ensemble programs hosted at some of the best music venues in the city.
With Electives one can choose to customize their study in different areas like Rhythm studies, Ear training, Music theory and Ensembles. The Modules in the Electives are also part of the Foundation course (FCMP) program. The program is only available for the period from July to September 2019.
Speech & Drama
The program works best for all children who must ideally be introduced to drama and speech at an early stage of their lives, and their creative energies be harnessed in productive ways. The program will introduce essential life skills through the medium of theatre, and advanced teaching methods applied in theatre training worldwide. It will guide children to overcome shyness and stage-fright; help them develop public speaking, love for literature, problem-solving skills and enable them to self-express with autonomy.
